We offer several different label materials, giving you the ability to select a material that best matches your food or beverage brand.

We offer several different types of label materials, including white bopp (our most popular), white semi gloss paper, estate 9 (ivory colored paper), clear bopp and several others.  Selecting the proper material for your specialty food or beverage is very important to the success of your product and when selecting the appropriate material  there are a couple of questions you need to answer:

  • Do you need moisture protection?
  • Will your label be applied to a damp container?
  • Does your label need to withstand extreme temperatures?

By far our most popular type of label for the specialty food and beverage market is white bopp.  This is a plastic label material that will stand up to the challenges of moisture and prevent the label from wicking up liquids around the edges.  We finish our white bopp labels with a matte or gloss lamination that only adds to the durability of the label and protects your beautiful label artwork.  Customers choose gloss lamination when they want an extra pop to the label.  Matte is selected to avoid the glare or shine that can sometimes make your label difficult to read.

Label Material Quick Guide

Some quick info about our most popular label materials.

White bopp: Our most popular by far. Great for durability and moisture protection.

White Paper: The most economical option. Coupled with a gloss or matte lamination it adds durability but will not stand up to moisture as well as bopp.

Estate 9 paper: Ivory colored paper with a slight texture.  Also not nearly as durable as bopp, but it does have an elegant look and feel.
